Today I will share with you my favorite summer smoothie recipe! It is very simple, healthy and it will give you all the energy you need to get through a hot summer day.

Ingredients (3 portions):

  • 1 whole pineapple, peeled, cored and eyes removed: The king of summer fruits, it brings in mind images of tropical beaches and memories of relaxing moments! It is sweet and rich in vitamin C and nourishing for your hair and skin.

  • 1 Banana: Very popular fruit, it is often used in fresh smoothies and fruit juices, as it can be easily found both in winter and summer.

  • 3 or 4 peeled peaches: Very juicy fruits, great for smoothies. They mostly contain Vitamin C.

  • A slice of ginger: Ginger is a root with a rather spicy taste, which is why the Greek word for ginger is “piperoriza” which actually means pepper-root.

  • Add soda water to make your smoothie more interesting and bubbly!

Blend the fruits, a few ice cubes and the soda water until it is smooth aaaand enjoy a tropical moment wherever you are!!
