So, you’ve decided to spend more creatively your time? Then, you’re in the right place!
The literature is the most fascinating and affective way to sharpen your mind. I think you get why it is affective, but fascinating? Well, most of us, when we hear the word literature, think of Dostoyevsky and other such writers. But not, literature isn’t that, I mean not exactly. Let me explain! Literature is any book that can be read, mainly the artistic ones though. A book could be read pleasurably by someone and someone else may find the same book impossible to read. In other words reading shouldn’t be a chore, you need to enjoy every moment of it!

But enough with these, it’s time to get into the suggestions. Please notice that these books aren’t necessary written in 2019. They’re just a few books which I think will become the best company you ever had! Lastly, they are separated in categories, so to make it easy for you to find in no time the most suitable for you!

Murder Mystery
Agatha Christie is, for sure, the king of murder mystery books! The suspense, the breathtaking plot twists and the characters are enough keep you hooked on her books for a whole day! So here are two books of her that you need to read:

Five Little Pigs
All that you need to know about it and what makes the book so special, is that Hercules Poirot examines a murder that happened fifteen years ago. Read a mystery story of a perfect-planned murder. The atmosphere, especially in the end, is so dramatic! Agatha totally nailed it!
The abc murders
The first book that establishes the “serial killer” term is a book that you have to read! It won’t let you down –even when you think that it has- and the way that Agatha narrates is just unique! As in the previous book, the Agatha’s favorite character, Hercules Poirot, tries to solve the mystery. Will he cope with it?

Science fiction

The Hunger games trilogy, Suzanne Collins

Although, I’ve just finished reading only the first book, I couldn’t help proposing it! You won’t be able to let that book off and you’ll be looking forward to reading the next one! It is such an exciting adventure that will make your heart beat fast. Oh, and, even if you have seen the movies, the books still worth it!

Historical novel

A Tale of Two Cities, Charles Dickens

The story takes place during the French evolution, both in Paris and London. It has to do with a French doctor, who’s trying to live in London with his daughter that he had never met! Highly recommended for the cold cozy days of the winter!

Adventure

White Fang, Jack London

While the exciting story of a white wolf is narrated, the White Fang manages to examine both the violent world of wild animals and the equally violent world of humans! It can also be read from all the ages! All of the above are enough to make it a “must”.

Thriller

Method 15/33, Shannon Kirk

When a team of criminals kidnapped a young pregnant, couldn’t imagine that she would be the most capable and skillful teenager they’ve ever met. Thrillers’ fans will totally love it, as this “thrilling” novel may have the most exciting plot. So, now, you tell me, who’s the victim and who’s the offender?

Drama

My Sweet Orange Tree, José Mauro de Vasconcelo

Zede is a kid from Brazil who lives toughly from a young age. He has to face, in a daily basis, the poorness, the whole society, and even his family. But his life will change dramatically when he meets a rich Portuguese. This book, trust me, has a lot to teach you. It is worth it to give it a go!
